Requires temporary employees at community college districts to be provided with the option of membership in the Defined Benefit (DB) Program, the Cash Balance (CB) Benefit Program, if offered, or Social Security (SSA). Also requires, by July 1, 2027, CalSTRS and CalPERS to develop and post informational materials regarding the DB Program, the CB Benefit Program and SSA on their websites and community college districts to provide such materials to newly hired temporary employees.
