Need help? We’re open during your winter break
Pension Sense blog | December 19, 2024 | Thomas Lawrence
We know you need rest more than productivity this holiday season. Hey, who can blame you? You finally have some time off without having to write lesson plans.
But if you have items lingering on your CalSTRS to-do list (like dropping off your retirement forms or needing a bit of one-on-one time with staff who can answer your questions) drop by and visit us during winter break.
Our member service centers are open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) and are located statewide in Fresno, Glendale, Irvine, Riverside, San Diego, Santa Clara and at our headquarters in West Sacramento.
We’ll be closed in observance of Christmas Day on Wednesday, December 25; New Year’s Day on Wednesday, January 1; and Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 20.
Our member service centers offer comprehensive in-person services including:
- Workshops
- General walk-in assistance
- CalSTRS publications and forms pickup
- Forms drop-off
- Benefit planning sessions by appointment
While we enjoy meeting you in person, we also encourage you to check out our wide range of online services at CalSTRS.com and myCalSTRS.com to take care of your needs, such as designating your one-time death benefit recipient or registering for an educational webinar.
We’re also available to answer your questions at 800-228-5453 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (also excluding holidays).
On your way up the hill to go sledding, or across town for coffee with friends, remember that we’re here for you over winter break and year-round.
