Johanna Scott, director of Early Childhood Education at Twin Rivers Unified, thought she would teach in the classroom her entire career. But now she's an administrator and part-time lecturer who advocates for setting up classrooms with intention.

"One of the things that I am extremely proud of that I've been able to do in Twin Rivers is I have expanded our inclusion preschool programs to where we teach with a co-teach model. We have a special education teacher and a general education teacher teaching side by side in the classroom."
